Are you passionate about quality and food safety? We are a well-established and growing meat processing business supplying major UK supermarkets, food service providers, and meal kit companies. We’re on the lookout for a Quality Supervisor to join our team and ensure our high standards are upheld across all areas of production.

The Role:You will be responsible for ensuring that raw materials, intermediate, and finished products consistently meet strict quality and food safety standards. Duties will include:

  • Conducting hourly quality checks and inspections

  • Performing label verifications

  • Monitoring and recording air temperatures

  • Calibrating weighing scales and temperature probes

  • Collecting product samples for lab testing

  • Carrying out equine testing

  • Completing low-level internal audits (e.g. black bag audits)

  • Adapting to changing quality requirements based on business needs

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous experience in a quality or food safety role

  • Basic Food Hygiene and HACCP certification (required)

  • Familiarity with health & safety procedures

  • Basic PC skills

  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive mindset

  • Background in food manufacturing is desirable but not essential
