The Role
As General Manager, youll be the face of the business ensuring exceptional food, drink, and service standards while creating a culture that inspires the team to perform at their best.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and motivate the front and back-of-house teams to deliver outstanding guest experiences.
Manage day-to-day operations, including stock control, rotas, budgeting, and cost management.
Drive sales and profitability through creative promotions and local community engagement.
Maintain compliance with all health & safety, food hygiene, and licensing regulations.
Recruit, train, and develop the team to reach their full potential.
Champion high-quality, fresh food and excellent customer service at all times.
About You:
Proven experience as a General Manager or Deputy Manager in a gastro pub, restaurant, or similar hospitality setting.
Passionate about fresh food, great drinks, and genuine hospitality.
A hands-on leader who leads by example and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Strong business acumen with experience managing budgets, targets, and KPIs.
Excellent communication and people management skills.
Enthusiastic, positive, and community-minded.
