Môrwell Talent Solutions is delighted to be working in partnership with a well-established 3 rd sector organisation located on the outskirts of Pontypridd. Our client is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Finance Assistant to join their team on a potential temporary-to-permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a solid grounding in sales ledger / purchase ledger who is looking to build a broader finance skill set in a supportive and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with the sales ledger: raising invoices, allocating payments, and resolving queries
  • Assisting with purchase ledger duties: processing supplier invoices, reconciling statements and preparing payment runs
  • Maintaining accurate financial records in line with company procedures
  • Liaising with internal departments and external stakeholders as required
  • Providing general administrative support to the finance team

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Previous experience in a similar finance or accounts assistant role
  • Knowledge of sales ledger processes and basic exposure to purchase ledger
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • High level data entry skills
  • Confident communication skills and a proactive attitude
  • Working knowledge of accounting systems and MS Excel
  • Early stages AAT studier
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
