HGV Class 2 Driver

Driver Hire Bournemouth and Salisbury are offering an exciting temp-perm opportunity for experienced HGV Class 2 driver with our client in Poole.

As part of this role, you will be driving a HGV Class 2 Vehicle and will be responsible for up to 15 palletised drops per day as well as 6 collections. Previous experience with Class 2 Multidrop is desirable for this role.

Position: HGV Class 2 Driver

Days: Monday-Friday

Start time: 07:00/08:00 AM

Start date: ASAP

Location: Poole

Pay Rate: £16.25 (basic) - £18.21 (nights) - £20.17 (weekends). Quoted rate is for PAYE advance holiday pay.

As a HGV Driver you MUST have:

• a minimum of 6 months commercial experience in the last year
• previous HGV Multidrop experience
• a valid UK Class 2 licence
• a valid CPC and digital tachograph card
• your own transport to get to and from work
• no more than 6 penalty points (no DR, DD or IN codes)

As a HGV Driver you will be responsible for:

• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, colleagues, and customers
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations, as well as company policies and procedures
• Safely operating HGVs to transport goods to various locations
