Join a well-established engineering team in Poole, Dorset as a Control Panel Wirer, where you'll build and wire bespoke electrical control panels.



Pay & Hours:

  • 14.00 per hour
  • Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 17:00 (40 hrs/week)
  • Full-time, permanent role


Your Role:

  • Assemble and wire control panels to engineering specs and electrical drawings
  • Fit components like PLCs, relays, switches, and terminal blocks
  • Test and fault-find completed panels to ensure quality and functionality
  • Update drawings and layouts with any changes made during build
  • Work closely with engineers to resolve issues and maintain standards
  • Follow all health & safety and electrical compliance procedures


What You'll Need:

  • Experience wiring control panels or similar electrical builds
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Confident using hand and power tools
  • Comfortable working solo or in a team environment


Preferred:

  • Level 2 Electrical qualification or similar in an engineering discipline
