Our client based in Poole has an immediate requirement for an experienced Executive Assistant to provide support to C-Suite Execs and the leadership teams. As an EA, you will have the following responsibilities:

  • Utilising your organisational and communication skills to ensure the smooth running of the CPO and S&IA offices on a day-to-day basis, including diary and email management, workload prioritisation and dealing with internal and external enquiries and complaints.
  • Enabling both directors to provide effective, timely and quality support to their Senior Leadership Team, Governance Committees and the wider organisation.
  • Taking the lead on communications and engagement including drafting emails, letters, Directorate communications and events, presentations, reports and Committee/Board papers.
  • Supporting the Directors with governance requirements including management and engagement of internal and external stakeholders and ensuring that the processes for capturing and communicating key decisions and actions are in place, understood and effective.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Exceptional use of initiative with a proactive approach to work and the ability to analyse and translate information clearly and effectively into action, paying great attention to detail but appreciating the bigger picture.

  • Integrity, credibility and confidence to act as an ambassador for the Directorates and to represent the Directors both internally and externally.
  • Excellent influencing and negotiating skills and confidence to challenge at a senior level.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to tailor communications and approach depending on the audience and desired outcome.
  • Finally, the ideal candidate will have common sense, humour and a pragmatic approach to your work
