Your Company:An automotive business is seeking a Senior Service Advisor to join the team located in the Poole area. This is a dynamic and growing automotive business representing prestigious brands across the South Coast, with a strong focus on delivering exceptional customer service and investing in employee development, offering a premium working environment and exciting career opportunities within the automotive sector. The position holder will be joining a thriving and bustling team, providing excellent customer service to clients, ensuring communication is kept proactive and supporting a growing team of individuals.Your Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Providing coaching and support to a team of Service Advisors and Administrators, ensuring adherence to core processes
  • Assisting both the Service Manager and Aftersales Manager with the effective allocation of daily workloads and responsibilities
  • Taking ownership of debt management and Work in Progress (WIP) control to maintain financial efficiency
  • Managing and supporting VIP customer journeys to ensure a premium and personalised experience
  • Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive continuous improvement across the department
  • Overseeing the allocation and coordination of mobility support programmes
  • Acting as a deputy for the Service Manager in their absence, maintaining operational consistency
  • Keeping customers regularly informed on the progress of their vehicles
  • Clearly explaining technical diagnoses and proactively upselling critical or urgent repairs in a professional manner
  • Ensuring every customer interaction reflects the highest of standards
  • Handling customer concerns and complaints with care and professionalism, aiming for positive and lasting resolutions
What you will need to Apply:The ideal candidate for this role will have previous experience within a similar customer facing role, ideally within the automotive industry. Applicants must be confident communicators and have an aptitude for team leadership, with a solid understanding of key customer service principles. Existing technical knowledge relating to automotive repair work would be beneficial.
