The Role

As a Manual Turner, you will be responsible for producing high-quality components to exact specifications using conventional turning machines. This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong background in manual machining who takes pride in their craftsmanship.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set and Operate manual lathes to machine a variety of components
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • Ensure components meet tight tolerances and quality standards
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment
  • Perform routine machine maintenance and checks

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Manual Turner or similar role in a precision engineering environment
  • Ability to read and work from engineering drawings
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Good time management and ability to work independently
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
