Your Company:An automotive business is seeking a Human Resources Assistant to join the team located in the Poole area. This is a dynamic and growing automotive business representing prestigious brands across the South Coast, with a strong focus on delivering exceptional customer service and investing in employee development, offering a premium working environment and exciting career opportunities within the automotive sector. The job holder will be supporting senior HR personnel, with a varied workload, actioning a variety of task across a number of areas, thus offering an interesting and dynamic opportunity.  Your Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Handling onboarding and offboarding processes, including new starter inductions, probation check-ins and completions, while ensuring all relevant updates are shared with payroll
  • Overseeing the People Team inbox, ensuring prompt and professional responses to all queries
  • Administering company benefit programs, including maintaining accurate records across relevant systems
  • Providing support during People-related meetings, with responsibility for taking accurate minutes
  • Managing uniform distribution, including monitoring stock levels, placing orders, and issuing uniforms to team members
  • Coordinating and schedule training sessions, ensuring timely updates are made in the HR system
  • Assisting the Head of People with daily administrative tasks and ad hoc support as needed
What you will need to Apply:The ideal candidate for this role will have previous experience within a human resources related position, and possess excellent communication skills, particularly in speaking with and managing a variety of stakeholders. Strong organisational skills are also required, alongside time management skills. It would be ideal for candidates to be good with data and data management.
