A growing manufacturing business is searching for a Production Manager to join their Poole based team for an exciting and highly progressive opportunity.Your RoleWhile in this position your duties may include but will not be limited to:

Enforcing Health & Safety policies, ensuring compliance, proper reporting, and provision of required safety equipment and workwear
Maintaining strong housekeeping standards with 5S principles embedded in daily operations
Overseeing staff to ensure duties align with company policies, ISO procedures, and training guides
Reviewing and improving processes to embed lean practices and promote continuous improvement
Supporting Works Order planning and taking full ownership of execution
Managing the timely reordering and replenishment of all badging consumables, including heat seal transfers
Leading and developing the team, including recruitment, training, monthly 1:1s, performance management, return-to-work interviews, and resource planning to meet SLAs, demand, and budget
Raising purchase orders in line with workload and customer demand
Ensuring all machinery, equipment, and vehicles are maintained, serviced, and safe for use, with contracts and preventative measures in place
Overseeing training compliance, ensuring staff sign relevant procedures, toolbox talks, and guides before carrying out activities, and support in creating/updating training materials
Monitoring and maintaining stock levels of internal-use products (e.g., packaging, labels, paper)
Producing management reports, KPIs, and data analysis to support operational oversight

Strong experience within a similar role
Exposure to a manufacturing environment and badging/production remit
Excellent communication skills, with a proactive approach and can-do attitude
Good team manager, with vital leadership skills
