The Role
Due to continued growth, our client are seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join their close-knit team. You’ll be involved in the full project lifecycle – from concept through to delivery – working on bespoke, complex mechanical systems for a variety of industrial applications.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Designing mechanical components and assemblies for custom machinery
- Taking projects from initial brief through to production, installation, and support
- Working closely with electrical and automation engineers to create integrated solutions
- Producing 3D CAD designs using SolidWorks
- Providing input on continuous product improvement and innovation
About You
- Strong background in mechanical design for special purpose machinery, automation, robotics, or related equipment
- Proficient in SolidWorks or a similar 3D CAD package
- Comfortable working on full lifecycle projects with bespoke requirements
- Collaborative, detail-focused, and able to manage multiple priorities
