Are you a mechanical inspector, that has experience using measuring instruments like verniers and calipers, who is looking to join a well-established company that supplies mechanical components to businesses across the UK and Europe?
Do you have experience in working to upkeep the ISO:9001 accreditation and are now looking for a varied role that will see you supporting the production teams, which offers an early finish on a Friday and a Christmas shutdown?
This company was established over seven decades ago and in that time has grown to employ over ninety people. The company operates out of 70,000 square foot facility supply into a range of industries including the automotive and oil & gas markets.
In this role the suitable candidate will be expected to focus on the goods out inspection on mechanical components. Utilising tools like verniers and shadowgraphs you will be working with a Quality Manager, working to upkeep the ISO:9001 accreditation.

The Role:
- Monday - Thursday 8:30 - 5 Friday 8:30 - 2
- Work to maintain the ISO:9001 accreditation
- Gather inspection reports to customer requirements
- Collaborate with the production team, ensuring all goods out are up to company standards and remain compliant
- Carry out first stage, mid stage and final inspections on mechanical components
The Person:
- Experience in an inspection / quality role
- Working knowledge of machining
