This Machine Shop Operative role offers an immediate start, consistent hours, and the chance to work with a well-established manufacturer known for precision and quality. As a Machine Shop Operative, your responsibilities will include:
  • Operating manual machines to produce precision components
  • Inspecting own work to ensure quality standards are met
  • Supporting the wider production team with general shop duties
  • Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
As a Machine Shop Operative, your experience will include:
  • Previous experience in a machine shop or engineering setting
  • Hands-on knowledge of at least one of the following: Honing, Knurling, Splining, Lathe work, or Gear Cutting
  • CNC experience would be a huge advantage
  • Ability to work independently and follow technical instructions
