Job Title: HGV Mechanic
Location: Poole
Salary: 18.00 - 22.00 per hour + overtime
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
We are looking for an experienced HGV Mechanic to join an established company in Poole. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and skilled engineer to secure long-term work with guaranteed overtime and ongoing manufacturer training.
Responsibilities:
Carry out routine servicing, repairs, and diagnostics on HGVs and related vehicles
Work to manufacturer standards and safety procedures
Support breakdowns and on-call duties (1 week in 6)
Maintain accurate job records and reports
Hours of Work:
Week 1: Monday - Friday, 07:00 - 17:20
Week 2: Monday - Friday, 12:00 - 22:00 + Saturday, 07:00 - 12:00
Overtime available daily
What's On Offer:
18.00 - 22.00 per hour (depending on experience)
Guaranteed overtime every day, with more available
20 days holiday (rising to 25 with service)
Manufacturer training and career development
Call-out rota (1 in 6) with additional pay
Requirements:
Previous experience as an HGV Mechanic / HGV Technician / Heavy Vehicle Mechanic
Strong mechanical, diagnostic, and repair skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
