Are you looking to start a career as a Machinist? Do you have a passion for engineering?
Due to growth, we are looking to appoint a trainee to join the machine shop team, with the view to trainning and coaching you in the skill of manual and CNC machining.
You will be taught to:
- learn how to operate manual lathes and milling machines, pillar drilling and CNC machines.
- machine parts from drawings
- use gauges and measuring instruments to meet tolerance requirements
- understand and perform tool wear offsets
- complete regular cleaning and maintenance tasks on
You will need:
- a qualification in a relevant subject
- a passion for engineering
- the ability to read technical drawings
- attention to detail
- the want to learn
