We're looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our dynamic team as Production Operatives at our client's state-of-the-art facility in Port Talbot!

Starting rate of £12.21 per hour, with a shift premium.

Shift Patterns:

Operating on a 3-shift pattern:

  • Day: 06:00 - 14:00
  • Evening: 14:00 - 22:00
  • Night: 22:00 - 06:00

Role and Responsibilities:

As a Production Operative, you will work within a shift team. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Setting machinery to meet manufacturing criteria and producing cans to exact specifications.
  • Conducting quality checks and accurately recording results.
  • Ensuring all materials are ready for use to keep production running smoothly.
  • Identifying and addressing any machinery anomalies and performing basic maintenance.
  • Assisting with the preparation of equipment for line changeovers.

Qualifications and Skills:

Educational Requirements: GCSE in Mathematics and English; NVQ in Manufacturing is desirable.

Experience: Previous experience in a manufacturing environment, especially within an FMCG organisation, is a plus.

Key Skills: Strong organisational skills, exceptional attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
