Client Accounts Assistant

Join a leading property company as an assistant Client Account, based at their Portsmouth head office. This role is essential for providing exemplary support to both internal and external customers and assisting in the financial operations within the company.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Conduct bank reconciliations and manage both sales and purchase ledgers.
- Handle posting of client receipts and supplier payments.
- Oversee daily banking activities.
- Prepare financial reports and assist with year-end accounting services as required.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Participate in the year-end process when required.
- Seek to enhance client relationships, oversee and maintain income levels on the portfolio, and participate in departmental strategy and service standard delivery.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience with Qube Software is desirable.
- Some experience in a property client accounts role is essential.
- Excellent team player with strong communication skills.
- Well-organised, patient, and able to work competently unsupervised.
Benefits:
- Standard working hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 – 17:00, with a 1-hour lunch break (35 hours per week), additional hours as necessary.
