This new Materials Manager opportunity has arisen following the award and onsite start of an environmentally progressive civil engineering impact provision earthworks scheme in Hampshire over the next 5 years with 8,000m3 of muck moved per day. Working for one of the Engineering JV partners your role will involve leading the laboratory and field testing activities of the project to meet industry wide standards.

Essential qualifications include;

  • Degree-qualified (or equivalent experience) in Civil, Structural, or Materials Engineering.
  • Experience in earthworks testing procedures.
  • Good understanding of Specification for Highway works and general material classifications
  • Strong knowledge of HSQE regulations.

This civil engineering contractor has recently made a significant investment into plant & machinery to enable further project wins and gains in delivering substantial renewable energy, environment, and coastal & flood defence projects throughout the Southern region.

This role will report directly into the projects Technical lead who will support your continued development and aspirations within a supportive culture, recognition of professional development and range of diverse, high profile projects being significant reasons for the contractors high rates of retention.

Salary and benefits include:

Up to 66,000 p/a basic salary plus package. NB If travel to site is in excess of 100 miles a daily allowance is available and unbranded truck.
