Our client, a leading entity in the Defence & Security sector, is seeking a proficient Training Requirement Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. This role is pivotal in the development and implementation of training solutions within Defence Training, ensuring that all requirements are meticulously defined, reviewed, and accepted.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the training lead for requirements definition, design reviews, and formal acceptance activities.
  • Liaise and collaborate with business Partners on training analysis, requirement setting, training design, courseware development, and delivery activities.
  • Support the capture and analysis of training data/information required by change projects, including the production of Training Needs Analysis and User Requirements Documents.
  • Act as the focal point for Training Feedback, Training Audits, and Observation Reports related to simulation and synthetic training solutions.
  • Identify and share areas of good practice in simulation and synthetic training, supporting horizon scanning activities to create new delivery opportunities.
  • Ensure allocated projects meet DSAT governance and health & safety requirements for compliance.
  • Interface with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring responsibilities and outcome requirements are aligned to support change projects collaboratively.
  • Support Programme/Project Managers with existing key client relationships and build new ones to maximise business opportunities.
Job Requirements:
  • Experience in training design within the Defence sector.
  • Understanding of Defence Training and Requirements management.
  • Ability to lead requirements definition, design reviews, and formal acceptance activities.
  • Strong collaboration and liaison skills with various partners and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in data capture, analysis, and the production of relevant documentation.
  • Knowledge of simulation and synthetic training solution design and delivery.
  • Familiarity with DSAT governance and health & safety compliance in training projects.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
