Infinity Employment are seeking an experienced Stock Controller for a company based in Portsmouth specialising in thermal energy accessories, supplying them to customers based locally and nationally. The role involves maintaining the company’s inventory, replenishing stock levels according to the demands of the customer. Working within a warehouse environment with a small team and must be able to demonstrate good communication skills.
Monday to Friday- 9am- 5pmÂ
Permanent Position - £25,000 per yearÂ
Stock Controller Responsibilities:
- Be efficient and accurate with the movement of stock.
- Maintain accurate stock levels
- Use inventory lists, check product codes, review reports.
- Good customer service skills required.Â
- Dealing with vendors and ordering stock.
- Planning and optimising warehouse storage space by effectively allocating stock.
- To help the warehouse in times of absence.
- To assist the warehouse manager with any administrative tasks.
- Computer systems to be utilised to upload information on stock levels.
- Implementation of cycle counts, ensuring accuracy and integrity.
- Adhere to company health & safety procedures.
Stock Controller Qualities & Experience:
- Great eye for detail.
- Works well under pressure.
- Worked in a warehouse environment.
- Experience working in Dispatch.
- Great at being organised, and methodical.
- Forklift licence would be beneficial but not essential - (training can be given)
