Role Overview
This position involves managing and delivering engineering projects within the water and wastewater sector. The role requires overseeing the entire project lifecycle, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and compliance with specified standards. The Project Manager will collaborate with a team comprising other Project Managers and Engineers.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the delivery of assigned projects, ensuring they are fully tested, delivered on time, within budget, and meet agreed specifications and standards.
- Assist in reviewing and managing internal standards and procedures, ensuring alignment with current national and international standards.
- Contribute to sales activities, including order bank management, customer engagement, surveying, and quoting.
- Demonstrate commercial awareness by examining, negotiating, and overseeing contracts with customers and subcontractors.
- Maintain strong working relationships with existing customer and supplier accounts.
Candidate Profile
- Comprehensive understanding of the full project lifecycle with demonstrable experience.
- Experience or understanding of system integration.
- Demonstrated commercial experience and contract management skills.
- Excellent time management skills with a structured and methodical approach to workload.
- Experience in delivering projects, preferably involving PLC/SCADA systems in the water/wastewater sector.
