A well-regarded regional law firm on the South Coast is seeking a Commercial Property Solicitor (2+ PQE) to join its expanding property team based in Portsmouth. With deep roots in the local community and a loyal client base, the firm offers a fantastic opportunity to handle a broad range of quality work while enjoying a supportive and collaborative environment.
The Role
You will manage your own caseload of commercial property matters and support senior team members with more complex transactions. Work will include:
- Freehold and leasehold acquisitions and disposals
- Landlord and tenant matters, including lease negotiations and renewals
- Commercial developments
- Property finance and refinancing
- General asset management work
Clients range from SMEs and local developers to investors and commercial landlords.
About You
- Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales) with at least 2 years' PQE in commercial property
- Strong technical and drafting skills
- Able to manage files independently and confidently liaise with clients
- Commercial awareness and proactive mindset
- Willingness to contribute to business development and client retention
