Our client, a well-established firm of Chartered Accountants with offices across Lancashire and Cumbria, is looking to recruit a Client Manager for their Longridge location.

Our client operates a general practice model, offering services in Personal Tax, VAT, Accounts Preparation, and limited Audit work. The practice is known for its professional yet down-to-earth approach and commitment to maintaining strong, long-term client relationships.

This position has become available due to the planned retirement of senior staff. The role requires a confident and self-sufficient individual capable of managing their own client portfolio within a small, close-knit team.

Client Manager Job Overview
  • Manage a varied client portfolio across accounts, tax, and VAT, with occasional audit engagements
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, delivering a responsive and personal service
  • Oversee and review accounts preparation, personal tax returns, and VAT submissions
  • Provide hands-on support and guidance to junior staff where appropriate
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations
