Hays Health & Safety are working with a growing construction organisation based in the Wirral specialising in high-rise cladding who are seeking a Health & Safety Coordinator to support the Health & Safety Manager with a growing workload.Due to the success and growth of the organisation they are seeking somebody to support the Health & Safety Manager with day-to-day duties to ensure the safety and wellbeing of the workforce is paramount.Due to the nature of the role and the opportunity to be mentored by an experienced Health & Safety Manager this is a perfect role for a candidate eager to build a career in Health & Safety or eager to develop their skills and experience.The Role
- Work with the Health & Safety Manager ensuring all Health & Safety documentation is maintained, developed and implemented across the organisation
- Create Health & Safety Toolbox talks to be delivered to site teams
- Support in the sharing of corrective actions following incidents
- Support with the gathering of data from incident and near-miss reporting, compile reports and analyse trends
- Assist with site audits and the development of RAMS on site
- Support with environmental reporting
The ideal candidate
- You will have a genuine interest and desire to have a long-lasting career in Health & Safety
- A NEBOSH qualification or equivalent qualification/experience is ideal
- An organised approach with an ability to manage your own time and workload
- The ability to analyse Health & Safety data and develop detailed reports to support the development of Health & Safety practices
