Asamechanicalengineer,youwillberesponsibleforsupportingwithprojectsacrossseveralindustrialsitesintheNorthWest(primarilyintheWirralArea,butnotexclusively).Thisroleinvolvesdesigning,developing,andmaintainingsystems,machines,andprocessestosolvepracticalproblemsandimproveefficiencies.IndustriesmayincludeFMCG,construction,foodproductionorpharmaceutical.

Responsibilities

  • SupportingmechanicalactivitiesonBlueChipClientsites
  • Providingmechanicalsolutionstoproblemsusingengineeringexpertise - Designthroughtoinstallation
  • Ensuringmanufacturingprocessescomplywithindustryregulationsandsafetystandards
  • MaintainingmanufacturingequipmentandmachinerypredominantlyinFMCGandpharmaceuticalenvironments
  • Repairandoverhaulofgeneralmechanicalitemssuchasmotors,pumps,valves,bearingsandshafts
  • Mechanicalmodificationofexistingequipmentinpackagingmanufacturingenvironment
  • Abilitytointeractwithsiteutilities(compressedair,steam,water,etc)andmodifypipingsystemswithinlimitsofdesign
  • Generalmechanicalsnagginginamanufacturinglineenvironment
  • UseofFLT,MEWP,Scissorliftsandotherplantandequipment(trainingandlicensespreferred,butwillbeprovided)
  • Providemechanicalengineeringsupporttoengineeringprojectmanagementteam
