Management Accountant | £40,000 – £45,000 + Study | Preston + Hybrid | PE-backed, acquisitive business | Fantastic progression and exposureAxon Moore have exclusively partnered with a PE-backed, acquisitive business in Preston in their search for an ambitious, part-qualified Management Accountant wanting to take ownership of the production of the management accounts in a broad and varied role. Offering unrivalled exposure, high-calibre mentorship, progression opportunities and study support towards ACCA/CIMA, this is an incredible opportunity for a high-calibre Management Accountant to establish themselves as a pivotal team member within a company experiencing rapid growth.Key Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Supporting with production of monthly management accounts
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Ownership of deferred revenue and prepayment schedules
  • Accruals and other month end tasks
  • Supporting with VAT returns and P11D
  • Assisting with stock reconciliations
  • Supporting the integration of new acquisitions
  • Oversee a small transactional team
  • Audit support
  • Process improvement
  • Other ad-hoc project work
Required Skills and Experience:
  • At least two years’ experience in a similar role
  • Advanced Excel skills (desired)
  • Boast a tenacious, problem-solving attitude.
  • Enthusiastic team player with a positive, hard-working approach.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Well organised and self-motivated with an ability to prioritise and manage own time efficiently and effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Adaptable and flexible nature.
