Service Care Solutions is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join a leading accountancy firm in Fulwood, Preston.
The position offers a salary range of £26,000 to £29,000 and requires 2 to 3 years of accounting practice experience.
The role involves bookkeeping using cloud-based products, preparing VAT returns, and providing client training and support.
Candidates should be IAB qualified or have a similar qualification, with strong attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.
This is a full-time, hybrid role with an expectation of three days per week in the office.

Service Care Solutions are working alongside a leading accountancy firm who are looking for an accomplished Bookkeeper to join their supportive team on a permanent basis. Please find a description of the role below.Role: Bookkeeper Rate: £26,000 to £29,000Location: Fulwood, Preston.Working: Full-time, Hybrid (Ideally 3 days per week office attendance)Role Overview: Job DescriptionYou will join as a Bookkeeper working with commercial, smaller OMBs, sole traders and partnerships across varying industries and turnover.

Bookkeeping, on cloud-based products (Kashflow, FreeAgent, Xero) as well as SAGE and Excel
Preparing and submitting VAT returns and assistance with implementation of cloud accounting technologies
Training clients with bookkeeping
There will be some onsite client facing element to it as well, working with clients and assisting the accounts team.
Office admin support functions
You will be IAB qualified, or have a similar qualification in pace, with at least 2 - 3 years or more accounting practice experience.

You will have demonstrable experience of bookkeeping and preparing VAT returns.
You will be looking to expand on your current skills, within a progressive accountancy practice on a full-time basis.
You will have a keen eye for detail, the ability to work to deadlines.
