Description

As a Credit Controller you will be responsible for:

  • Management of outstanding account balances to ensure timely debt recovery.
  • Building strong relationships with clients to support timely payments.
  • Performing credit checks on new customers and agreeing terms of credit.
  • Resolving queries relating to invoices, ensuring issues are resolved to prevent late payment.
  • Reconciliation of sales ledger accounts.
  • Monthly reporting and forecasting of debtor status.
  • Working closely with the sales team to ensure all accounts are up to date.
  • Continual improvement of the credit control process.

Profile

A successful 'Credit Controller' should have:

  • Proven experience in a Credit Controller position.
  • Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • A high degree of computer literacy, particularly in accounting software and Excel
