Description
As a Credit Controller you will be responsible for:
- Management of outstanding account balances to ensure timely debt recovery.
- Building strong relationships with clients to support timely payments.
- Performing credit checks on new customers and agreeing terms of credit.
- Resolving queries relating to invoices, ensuring issues are resolved to prevent late payment.
- Reconciliation of sales ledger accounts.
- Monthly reporting and forecasting of debtor status.
- Working closely with the sales team to ensure all accounts are up to date.
- Continual improvement of the credit control process.
Profile
A successful 'Credit Controller' should have:
- Proven experience in a Credit Controller position.
- Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving.
- A high degree of computer literacy, particularly in accounting software and Excel
