Job Description:
My client is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Production and Quality Assurance Operative to join their team in Preston. This role involves working in a fast-paced food production environment with a focus on maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor production machinery to ensure efficient and safe production processes.
- Conduct quality assurance checks to ensure products meet company and regulatory standards.
- Assist in the implementation and maintenance of HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) systems.
- Perform routine inspections and audits to identify and address any quality issues.
- Maintain accurate records of production and quality assurance activities.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a food production environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of HACCP principles is highly desirable.
- Forklift Truck (FLT) certification is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
