Architectural Technologist

Location: Preston

Salary: 40-48,000 (dependent on experience)

An award-winning and respected architectural studio based in Preston is looking to appoint a skilled and enthusiastic Architectural Technologist to join their expanding team. The firm boasts a longstanding reputation for delivering technically robust and imaginative design solutions within sectors including education, healthcare, heritage and commercial development.

Responsibilities for the role of Architectural Technologist:
* Take the lead or assist in producing technical drawings and construction packages across all RIBA stages
* Develop detailed design documentation including schedules, specifications, and working drawings
* Coordinate with external consultants and manage project documentation
* Carry out site inspections, report on progress and support project delivery
* Assist with planning applications, feasibility assessments and technical evaluations

Requirements:
* Relevant degree or an HND/HNC in Architectural Technology
* Strong technical background, ideally within education or healthcare projects
* Proficiency in Revit is essential
* In-depth knowledge of UK Building Regulations and construction standards
* Excellent organisational, interpersonal, and coordination skills
* Team-focused with a proactive, solution-driven mindset
