Vida Education are working alongside a large SEN school located in the Preston (PR4) area to find an experienced, enthusiastic SEN teacher to work within the KS1 and KS2 provision. Students at the school present with autism spectrum condition (ASC) and/or complex needs. The position is to cover a maternity leave for the full academic year.

School

  • Located near Kirkham with links to local public transport network
  • Cater for children from ages 4-12
  • Children present with ASC and/or complex needs within the provision
  • OFSTED rated GOOD

Requirements:

  • UK QTS in essential
  • Prior experience working with children SEND including ASC
  • Effective and confident behaviour management skills
  • Willing to undergo full clearance procedure. Including but not limited to; DBS checks, proofs of address, references and right to work checks.

YOU WILL NEED TO

  • Have UK Right to Work Status.
  • Hold a TA qualification or have relevant work experience.
  • Complete a registration with Vida Education which includes holding a current Enhanced DBS registered with the DBS Update Service, or you will be prepared to apply for a new ENHANCED DBS with ourselves (cost applied).
