We are seeking a dedicated KS1 SEN Teacher to join our client in Preston. This role involves working with small classes of 8 children, providing specialised education to students with special educational needs. The ideal candidate will be a compassionate educator who is committed to fostering a nurturing and effective learning environment.

Day-to-day of the role:

Teach small classes of 8 children with special educational needs.
Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the needs of each student.
Assess and record students' progress, and provide feedback to parents and caregivers.
Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.
Collaborate with other teachers, professionals, and families to support student learning and wellbeing.
Participate in ongoing professional development and training.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a focus on early years or primary education.
Experience in special education, particularly at the KS1 level.
Strong understanding of the educational needs and challenges faced by SEN students.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to create and adapt teaching materials to meet the needs of students with diverse learning abilities.
