Job Title: Supply Chain Coordinator
Location: Garstang, Lancashire
Salary: Up to £30,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

Overview:
Complete Power Services is looking for a proactive and highly organized Supply Chain Coordinator to join our team based in Garstang. This is a key role within our operations, focusing on managing the flow of goods and materials to ensure timely and efficient delivery. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of supply chain processes, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supply Chain Coordination: Oversee the end-to-end supply chain process, ensuring the smooth movement of goods and materials from suppliers to the business.

  • Supplier Management: Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, ensuring accurate order processing and timely deliveries. Negotiate pricing, delivery terms, and resolve any supplier issues related to delays or discrepancies.

  • Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels and manage ordering processes to avoid shortages or excess inventory. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure sufficient stock levels are maintained based on operational requirements.

  • Logistics & Transportation: Coordinate the logistics and transportation of goods, working with freight carriers, shipping companies, and internal teams to ensure on-time deliveries and efficient transportation.

  • Data Management & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of all supply chain activities, including inventory levels, orders, shipments, and supplier performance. Generate regular reports to track supply chain performance and identify areas for improvement.

  • Problem Solving: Address and resolve supply chain issues, such as delays, incorrect shipments, or damaged goods. Collaborate with other departments to ensure issues are resolved quickly and effectively.

  • Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve supply chain processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. Suggest and implement best practices and innovations to optimize supply chain operations.

  • Compliance & Health & Safety: Ensure all supply chain activities comply with relevant health and safety, customs, and regulatory requirements. Stay informed about industry regulations to ensure operational compliance.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a supply chain or logistics coordination role is essential.

  • Strong understanding of supply chain processes and logistics management.

  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships with suppliers, customers, and internal teams.

  • Proficient in using supply chain management software, Microsoft Office, and other relevant tools.

  • Problem-solving ability with a proactive approach to resolving issues.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
