Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates for structural steel projects, including material, labour, and subcontractor costs.
  • Review project specifications, drawings, and tender documents to develop accurate bids.

  • Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain quotations and ensure cost-effectiveness.
  • Track project costs and maintain clear records of all estimates and revisions.
  • Ensure compliance with company standards and industry regulations throughout the estimation process.

About You:

  • Proven experience as an Estimator in the structural steel industry.
  • Strong understanding of structural steel fabrication and erection processes.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Proficient in estimation software and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
