A leading product led variety business in the Leeds / Pudsey area. The business sells direct to consumers as well as to large Ecommerce & high street retailers. Due to growth the business is seeking someone to join to work with the Product / Design team.
Description
- Navigating and updating our ERP stock management system - previous experience is a plus, but fast learners welcome.
- Using Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs) to organise, analyse, and update key information.
- Managing and updating accurate data for shipping, purchase orders, and product specifications.
- Monitoring timelines and keeping our critical path on track for product launches.
- Communicating daily with transport agents and suppliers in the UK and overseas to ensure smooth delivery schedules.
- Coordinating incoming stock shipments from the Far East to UK and USA warehouses
Profile
A successful Merchandise & Supply Chain Assistant should have:
- Previous experience in retail or supply chain roles.
- Proficiency in inventory management systems and Microsoft Office tools.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret data and forecast trends.
- Excellent organisational abilities to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- A proactive approach to solving problems and improving processes.
