Machine Operator - CNC | Storrington | Temp to Perm | £12.50-£14.50 per hour | Monday to Friday | 8:30am-17:00
Found Industrial are working with a well-established and growing manufacturer based in Storrington (RH20). We are recruiting for a CNC Machine Operator to join their machine shop, with training provided and progression opportunities for the right person. This is a temp-to-perm position with a full-time permanent contract offered after a 16-week training period.

Role Summary:

Full-time hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am-17:00

Initial hourly rate of £12.50-£14.50 (depending on experience)

Hourly pay increases upon being taken on permanently

16-week training period with a view to a permanent contract

Key Responsibilities:
-
Set up and operate CNC machinery, including 3-axis and 5-axis machines, to produce precision components

Load raw materials and monitor machining processes to ensure accuracy and consistency

Interpret and work from engineering drawings, diagrams, and technical documents

Perform quality control checks on finished components, using measuring tools such as verniers and micrometers

Conduct basic maintenance on machines and keep the workstation clean and organised

Collaborate with other production staff and supervisors to meet daily output targets
Candidate Requirements:
-
Previous experience operating CNC machinery in a machine shop or manufacturing environment is essential

Experience with 5-axis CNC machinery is highly desirable

Strong ability to read and interpret technical and engineering drawings

A good understanding of manufacturing processes and quality control standards

Mechanically minded with a strong eye for detail and commitment to accuracy

A good level of English (both written and verbal)

Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, or Six Sigma practices would be beneficial but not essential
