Senior Architect

Location: West Sussex

Salary: 46-55,000 (dependent on experience)

A well-established architectural studio with over 50 years of expertise in the luxury residential and commercial markets is looking for a Senior Architect to join its thriving team in West Sussex. Renowned for delivering award-winning projects that combine creativity with precision, the practice is seeking someone who can lead projects from concept through to completion. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing client relationships, guiding multidisciplinary teams, and upholding the highest levels of design quality and technical delivery.

The Role:

  • Lead architectural projects from start to finish, ensuring delivery within agreed timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

  • Act as the main point of contact for clients, building strong and lasting relationships.

  • Produce and present design proposals that align with client briefs and statutory requirements.

  • Oversee the creation of detailed drawings, technical specifications, and supporting documentation.

  • Coordinate closely with internal colleagues and external consultants to deliver project goals.

  • Mentor and guide junior team members, contributing to a supportive and forward-thinking workplace culture.

  • Support business growth by identifying potential new clients and project opportunities.

Requirements:

  • RIBA Part 3 qualification (or equivalent).

  • Extensive post-qualification experience within an architectural practice.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead and deliver projects across a range of sectors.

  • Strong technical expertise with experience preparing comprehensive design and construction information.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with proven client management skills.

  • Experience in overseeing project budgets and schedules effectively.

  • Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD and Revit.
