Location: West Sussex

Salary: 46-55,000 (dependent on experience)

An esteemed architectural practice with more than 50 years of experience in the luxury residential and commercial sectors is seeking a Senior Architect to join its dynamic team in West Sussex. Celebrated for delivering award-winning projects that balance creativity and precision, the studio is looking for a leader who can drive projects from initial concept through to completion. The role will involve overseeing client relationships, directing multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring the highest standards of design excellence and technical delivery.

The Role:

  • Lead architectural projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Serve as the primary client liaison, fostering strong, long-term relationships.
  • Develop and present design solutions that respond to client briefs while meeting regulatory and statutory requirements.
  • Oversee the production of detailed drawings, technical specifications, and associated documentation.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal teams and external consultants to achieve project objectives.
  • Mentor and support junior colleagues, helping to nurture a collaborative and progressive studio culture.
  • Contribute to business development by identifying new client opportunities and potential projects.

Requirements:

  • RIBA Part 3 qualified and ARB registered.
  • Extensive post-qualification experience within an architectural practice.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and deliver projects across a range of sectors.
  • Strong technical expertise with experience preparing comprehensive design and construction information.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with proven client management skills.
  • Experience in overseeing project budgets and schedules effectively.
  • Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD and Revit.
