About the role

To lead and manage all internal IT systems, tools, and infrastructure, ensuring they are secure, efficient, and aligned with the organisation’s business goals. The role also drives the automation of workflows and delivery processes within the business, enabling scalability, improved productivity, and enhanced service delivery across the organisation.

Responsibilities:

IT Systems Management

  • Oversees and maintains all internal IT infrastructure, systems, and tools (e.g., hardware, internal networks, Microsoft, SaaS tools including Monday.com, Asana, PowerBI, and Zapier).

  • Manages relationships with third-party vendors and software providers.

  • Ensures the Operations, Sales, and Marketing teams are equipped with the necessary tools to execute their functions effectively.

  • Leads onboarding and offboarding IT processes, including hardware provisioning and access controls.

Automation and Workflow Optimisation

  • Identifies, implements, and continuously improves automation opportunities across departments using tools such as Zapier, Power Automate, or Monday.com integrations.

  • Streamlines business processes to reduce manual intervention and eliminate inefficiencies.

  • Champions low-code/no-code solutions where appropriate for the Operations, Marketing, and Sales teams.

Project Delivery & Change Implementation

  • Leads IT and automation-related projects from scoping through to delivery and evaluation.

  • Collaborates with stakeholders across departments to understand operational pain points and translate them into technical solutions.

  • Monitors and measures the impact of systems and automations on business outcomes.

  • Oversees the implementation of HubSpot or other CRM platforms for Sales, Marketing, and Operations, whether delivered internally or through external vendors.

Data Integrity & Systems Integration

  • Ensures smooth data flow and integration across platforms for key business processes such as sales lead management.

  • Maintains data security, GDPR compliance, and internal audit trails.

  • Collaborates with Finance, Compliance, and Operations teams to align technology systems with regulatory requirements.

Key Skills & Competencies:

Technical Skills

  • Demonstrates strong working knowledge of internal IT systems, including Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, network administration, and cybersecurity.

  • Experienced in working with SaaS platforms and integrating them using APIs and automation tools such as Zapier, Make.com (Integromat), and Power Automate.

  • Possesses a solid understanding of cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure) and databases.

  • Familiar with project management tools and methodologies, including Agile, Scrum, Monday.com, and Jira.

Project & Delivery Skills

  • Proven track record in project delivery, particularly in systems rollouts, automation initiatives, and digital transformation.

  • Skilled in process mapping and workflow design.

  • Demonstrates strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Exhibits high technical competency across a broad range of hardware and software challenges.

Soft Skills

  • Able to work effectively across functions and communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Proactive and solutions-oriented, with the ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.

  • Possesses strong organisational and time management skills.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Holds a Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or possesses equivalent experience.

  • Brings over three years of experience in IT systems management or digital operations.

  • Has a proven track record of successfully delivering automation projects and supporting mid-sized businesses across a broad range of IT needs.
