Assistant Manager: Brass Monkey - Speciality Coffee Shop

Are you passionate about coffee and ready to step into a leadership role within a thriving independent coffee shop? Were looking for an enthusiastic, experienced and motivated Assistant Manager to join our busy team in the heart of Radlett.

About the Role

As Assistant Manager, youll work closely with the Manager to oversee daily operations, deliver exceptional customer service, and help lead our team. Youll be a key part of the shops identity, friendly, approachable, and always maintaining high standards on the shop floor. For the right person, this role offers a clear path to becoming General Manager as the business continues to expand. Salary is based on a 48 hour contract.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Manager in day-to-day operations and team leadership
  • Deliver outstanding customer service and build strong customer relationships
  • Prepare high-quality coffee with consistent excellence
  • Train, mentor and motivate staff to maintain a positive team culture
  • Ensure smooth service during busy periods
  • Uphold shop standards, cleanliness, operational procedures & compliance

Requirements

  • Minimum 2-3 years barista experience, including latte art
  • Confident with dialling in the grinders and maintaining top quality consistent coffee
  • At least 2-3 years experience managing a team in hospitality
  • Upbeat, friendly, and confidentsomeone who naturally becomes the face of the business
  • Ambition to progress to General Manager as opportunities arise
