Services company based in Essex is seeking to recruit a Financial Controller to manage a team of 7, reporting to the CFO.
Responsibilities
- Oversee team of 7, ensuring quality of output and timeliness of month end close
- Development of financial reports for the Board
- Weekly cashflow reporting and analysis, managing banking relationships
- Review of financial control environment and enhancement of exisiting processes
- Lead the year end audit process and liaising with external auditors
- Oversee statutory reporting half and full year reporting
- Management reporting to investors
- Business partnering the CFO on day-to-day matters
- Review of systems and key involvement in any upgrades
- Escalation contact for any supplier queries
Your background
- Qualified accountant with relevant PQE
- Experience of working in labour-intensive services businesses preferred
- Strong technical accounting skills
- Strong leader and mentor with high standards
- Exposure to PE-backed companies beneficial
