Based in Rawtenstall, our client are a broker that have gone from strength to strength since their inception in the early 00's and currently stand as a £15 million GWP Broker. they have garnered a reputation for delivering a tailored client first approach to commercial insurance, and are now looking to add a new Commercial Account Handler to their team, due to organic business growth.Â
They have an extremely impressive staff retention rate here, which speaks volumes on the working environment they offer. Currently the business has 10 staff with plans to add several more over the coming months. They also do quarterly work socials too.
As their new Commercial Account Handler, you will support a range of commercial clients across a variety of sectors, with typical clients here being SME to mid market in size. You will have responsibility here for servicing existing accounts, broking new business and developing successful long term relationships with your clientsÂ
As above, you will need at least 3 years commercial broking experience to be considered and need good technical knowledge across multiple product lines. They use Acturis here, so experience using this would be a bog bonus too!Â
Salary on offer is £35-40k, with a bonus scheme, 25 days holiday + bank holidays (plus 1 well being day or your birthday off). Office hours are Monday to Friday 9am-5pm (with a 4pm finish on a Friday). This role is office based, however they do offer flexibility when needed to work from home on an ad hoc as needed basis.
