We are seeking an experienced Finance Director to lead and manage all aspects of a legal firm's financial operations. This senior leadership role will play a key part in driving financial strategy, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities:-
Oversee budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and audits

Ensure compliance with financial regulations and professional standards

Lead accounting operations, billing, payroll, and credit control processes

Provide strategic financial insight to support decision-making and long-term planning

Manage financial risk, working capital, and liquidity

Support board-level discussions with high-quality financial analysis and reporting

Drive systems improvements and software upgrades to enhance efficiency

Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent)

Strong leadership background in finance, preferably in the legal or professional services sector

Deep understanding of financial compliance and reporting frameworks (e.g. UK GAAP, SRA Accounts Rules)

Proven track record of delivering financial strategies that enable business growth
