Location: Hybrid/ Berkshire based with some travel required (<10%). Flexible working arrangements available.

The Role
As an Internal Auditor, you will be responsible for executing various audit activities, including risk-based and system audits. This role offers competitive compensation and the opportunity to work with a diverse range of stakeholders in a dynamic financial services environment.
Key Responsibilities of the Internal Auditor:
- Conduct audit engagements in accordance with internal audit methodology
- Perform risk assessments and review internal control design
- Liaise with stakeholders and report control and compliance deficiencies
- Participate in closing audit meetings and follow up on agreed management actions
- Deliver 6 audits during the calendar year to meet annual audit plan objectives
Required knowledge and experience for the Internal Auditor role:
- Qualified Internal Auditor (CIA), Accountant (ACA/ACCA), or IT Specialist (CISA)
- Experience in planning and delivering audits of core financial systems and business functions
- Strong analytical, investigative, and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent interpersonal and report-writing skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and data analysis
