MERJE is seeking a highly skilled Internal Auditor for a leading company. This role offers an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team, conducting risk-based audits and special investigations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in internal audit and excellent analytical skills.

The Role

As an Internal Auditor, you will be responsible for executing various audit activities, including risk-based and system audits. This role offers competitive compensation and the opportunity to work with a diverse range of stakeholders in a dynamic financial services environment.

Key Responsibilities of the Internal Auditor:

  • Conduct audit engagements in accordance with internal audit methodology
  • Perform risk assessments and review internal control design
  • Liaise with stakeholders and report control and compliance deficiencies
  • Participate in closing audit meetings and follow up on agreed management actions
  • Deliver 6 audits during the calendar year to meet annual audit plan objectives

Required knowledge and experience for the Internal Auditor role:

  • Qualified Internal Auditor (CIA), Accountant (ACA/ACCA), or IT Specialist (CISA)
  • Experience in planning and delivering audits of core financial systems and business functions
  • Strong analytical, investigative, and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent interpersonal and report-writing skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and data analysis
