Bookkeeper - West End, London - Tech & Media

Our client is a 10 Partner West End Accountancy Firm with an enviable list of clients, many of whom are in the media & entertainment and creative industries. One of the larger firms who still operate as a general practitioner, their team are trusted advisors to their clients and build strong relationships with them. If you love the creative industries and want to add value to your clients, whilst working in a fun and relaxed environment, this would be a great option.

Bookkeeper responsibilities include:

  • Processing of Sales and Purchase Ledger using cloud accounting software
  • Regular reconciliations of Balance Sheet Accounts
  • Preparing accounts at the year end with supporting reconciliations
  • VAT and month end reporting (including Making Tax Digital submissions)
  • Recognising and highlighting VAT issues to clients to ensure they are compliant with the relevant rules and regulations

As a Bookkeeper, you will have:

  • 3-5 years’ experience working with clients in the media/film/entertainment industry
  • Experience of working with Xero/Quickbooks Online
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office
  • Working knowledge of VAT legislation
