KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
As part of the management team you will be responsible for the operation of one/several business areas
- Build relationships with customers through good communication in meetings, presentations and documentation
- Technical & commercial Leadership in project management
- Overall responsibility for the successful delivery of all projects ensuring they are on time, to budget and meet agreed specifications
- Understand and report on all high-level business strategies within key accounts to the rest of the Senior Management team
- Identify and report on current / future operational challenges to the customer, to ensure that all issues are widely understood within the company.
- Cultivating existing customers and repeat business through delivering technical projects well and ensuring customer satisfaction
- Help develop staff in technical, commercial and management skills
- First point of contact and manage all client issues
- Provide cost effective control solutions including tender preparation and reviews prior to submission
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
We value everyone's skills and experiences but for this role are looking for people who:
- Educated to at least degree level in a relevant automation / engineering subject and ideally a member of the relevant engineering & project management bodies.
- A proven track record in the control and automation industry
- Management experience within a Tech leadership, PM, business manager role
- High calibre ambitious and self-starter, control and automation professional, capable of operating at high level within the company
- Have high intellect and desire to take an active role with the company management team and its future.
- Excellent interpersonal skills including written and verbal communication
- Excellent Technical skills
- Strong commercial acumen within project delivery
- A track record in the successful delivery of cost effective projects encompassing control solutions within any of the following industries (Food, Utilities, FMCG, Process, Materials Handling industries)
- Although not essential If you have experience of working within the water industry that will furthermore enhance you application
