Westlakes Recruit are currently recruiting for a HVAC Construction Manager interested in opportunities on a contract basis, to be located in Reading
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, organise, and supervise HVAC construction and installation activities on site.
- Coordinate with design engineers, subcontractors, and project teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Monitor progress, manage resources, and ensure timelines, budgets, and quality targets are met.
- Conduct site inspections, quality checks, and testing to verify compliance with specifications and standards.
- Identify and resolve technical or logistical issues during installation.
- Maintain accurate site records, reports, and documentation.
Qualifications & Skills
- Degree or HNC/HND in Mechanical, Building Services, or a related engineering discipline.
- Proven experience managing HVAC construction projects in highly regulated industries.
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems, installation methods, and relevant standards (CIBSE, BS, ASHRAE).
- Excellent project management, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately.
- Strong problem-solving skills and proactive approach to issue resolution.
