A dedicated and reliable Site Assistant is needed to join a supportive team, ensuring that the educational institution remains a clean, safe, and well-maintained space for students, staff, and visitors.
Day-to-day of the role:- Support the upkeep, maintenance, cleanliness, and security of the site.
- Open and close the buildings on a rotational basis (6:30am opening, 6:00pm closing).
- Carry out minor repairs and general maintenance tasks.
- Assist with site security and health & safety procedures.
- Set up rooms and spaces for events and activities.
- Work flexibly to accommodate the needs of the institution.
- Maintain a basic understanding of Health and Safety, COSHH, and Building Control.
- Reliable, proactive, and able to work independently.
- Good team player with a positive attitude.
- Basic maintenance and DIY skills are desirable.
- Willingness to adapt to the needs of the institution, including occasional flexibility with working hours.
