We are supporting a nuclear contractor who have a package of work at Burghfield nuclear site. They are seeking a number of Electrical Technicians to undertake installation activities in their nuclear facility. The role is available on an initial 6 month contract, in a full time site based role, working on a 66 hours - 11 shifts on, 3 shifts off. This is a days role, typically 06:30 – 18:30 with an unpaid lunch break. Rate available is £38.90/hour Umbrella (Inside IR35) or £29.51/hour PAYEFor each day travelled to site, a £100 per diem is payable to workers travelling more than 30 miles to site. Typical job responsibilities:
    • Tray, conduit and Trunking installation
    • Cable pulling including forming and looming.
    • Glanding and terminating and identification of cables and cores in accordance with cable cards
    • Inspection and testing of installations (Dead tests and Live testing)
    • Panel Installation
 Essential Qualifications and Experience:
  • Site Installation experience (preferred) in Nuclear Industry/Power Generation
  • Level 3 Qualification (e.g. Recognised Training Scheme or Apprenticeship) appropriate to their trade.
  • ECS/CSCS must be obtained prior to entry to site
  • BS 7671:2008 Wiring Regulations
