Reed Practice is proud to be recruiting on behalf of a respected and forward-thinking accountancy firm based in Reading. They are seeking a highly skilled Financial Reporting Manager to lead their financial reporting function and support a diverse client base with complex reporting requirements.
Role Overview:As the Financial Reporting Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and review of statutory accounts and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards. You will also play a key role in managing client relationships and mentoring junior team members.
Key Responsibilities:- Preparing and reviewing statutory financial statements in accordance with FRS 102 and IFRS
- Managing a portfolio of clients, including large and complex entities
- Leading technical accounting projects and advising clients on reporting issues
- Coordinating with audit teams and ensuring timely delivery of financial reports
- Supervising and developing junior staff within the reporting team
- ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
- Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS
- Proven experience in a financial reporting or audit role within practice
- Excellent communication and client management skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and lead a team effectively
