Reed Practice is proud to be recruiting on behalf of a respected and forward-thinking accountancy firm based in Reading. They are seeking a highly skilled Financial Reporting Manager to lead their financial reporting function and support a diverse client base with complex reporting requirements.

Role Overview:

As the Financial Reporting Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and review of statutory accounts and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards. You will also play a key role in managing client relationships and mentoring junior team members.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparing and reviewing statutory financial statements in accordance with FRS 102 and IFRS
  • Managing a portfolio of clients, including large and complex entities
  • Leading technical accounting projects and advising clients on reporting issues
  • Coordinating with audit teams and ensuring timely delivery of financial reports
  • Supervising and developing junior staff within the reporting team
Ideal Candidate:
  • ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
  • Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS
  • Proven experience in a financial reporting or audit role within practice
  • Excellent communication and client management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and lead a team effectively
